Amadou Gallo Fall: NBA Vice President and Managing Director – Africa

Amadou Gallo Fall is the NBA Vice President and Managing Director – Africa. He oversees the NBA’s grassroots basketball development initiatives and commercial partnerships in Africa.

Under his leadership, the NBA launched The NBA Academy Africa in Senegal; hosted its second game in Africa supported by record 10 partners, the 15th edition of the Basketball Without Borders Africa camp and the first NBA Africa Innovation Summit in South Africa last August, while expanding its Jr. NBA programming to 11 countries last year.

Fall is active in thought leadership which reflected in his speaking roles at the SEED Project Hoop Forum in Senegal, the African Philanthropic Forum in Johannesburg, and Kwesé and NBA Town Halls in Nigeria and Senegal. His personal journey demonstrates his commitment to making a positive impact in Africa and inspired his speech on the transformative power of sport at TEDxEuston in London.
