Arsenal has renewed and expanded their partnership with American credit card company MBNA. The financial services provider will remain the Premier League club’s official credit card partner in the UK, a position it has held since 2004.
Under the terms of the new agreement, MBNA will continue to have rights to offer club merchandise to its patrons, whilst it will also have access to hospitality packages, providing existing and new customers with the opportunity to win Arsenal tickets.
It will, in addition, have an increased presence on the London club’s various digital and media channels, and its logo will be seen on the digital perimeter boards at Arsenal’s home, the Emirates Stadium.
James Poole, strategy and innovation executive at MBNA said: "Our partnership with Arsenal is about creating value - for supporters, for the club and for MBNA. MBNA can access the club's extensive supporter base and a valuable programme of bespoke benefits. We're excited that the relationship will enable MBNA to make good stuff happen for real Arsenal fans."
Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal's chief commercial officer, added: "We are proud of our longstanding relationship with MBNA and are delighted to be extending and expanding our successful partnership.”
