Evander Holyfield will not fight South African Francois Botha in Uganda next month after a Swedish promoter, Baltic Pro Box, failed to send 10% of payments in advance.

There are now reports that 41 year-old Botha will now fight Joey Abell in Uganda next month.

Former world heavyweight champion Holyfield has not fought in 13 months since losing a title-fight decision to Russian Nikolai Valuev.

Ken Sanders, Holyfield's manager, has said that the fight was now expected to be rescheduled for 6th March in the United States, possibly Miami.

Holyfield has had other fights cancelled in South Korea and Ethiopia when financing fell through.
