The Airtel Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) Governing Council has announced that this year's cricket tournament will be held in South Africa from 10th -26th September.

The Governing Council has accepted Cricket South Africa's offer to host the tournament, with the venues and competing teams for the second edition of the world's premier domestic Twenty20 competition to be finalized in the coming weeks.

The CLT20 Governing Council is scheduled to meet in May to finalise the details for the tournament.

It comprises the three founding member boards of the tournament, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Cricket Australia (CA) and Cricket South Africa (CSA).
