Cricket South Africa has awarded 40 members of its staff a total R4.7m in bonuses for the successful hosting of the Indian Premier League and ICC tournaments.
The CEO, Gerald Majola, received R1,131,067 for hosting the IPL and R644,081 for the ICC tournaments.
South Africa hosted the IPL last year after security fears prevented the tournament from being held in India.
The country is due to host the Champions League T20 later this year and the tournament starts on 10th September at the Wanderers.
The 23-game tournament includes three Indian Premier League teams, two South African, two Australian, and one each from Bangalore, New Zealand and the West Indies.
