MORE CELEBS SIGN UP TO BOK PROGRAMME- 2 Sep 2010 00:00:00

The Springbok Supporters’ Club has signed up more celebrities to its ambassador programme to get behind the Springboks.

Model Roxy Louw, actor Vanessa Haywood, radio DJ Ryan O’Connor and girl band La Vuvuzela will all been signed up as Springbok Supporters’ Club Ambassadors at the Canterbury Store in Canal Walk on Friday.

The Springbok Supporters Club, the official supporters club of the Springboks, has launched its ambassador programme to garner support for the team as they build towards the defence of the Rugby World Cup title in New Zealand next year.

The ambassadors are local celebrities who are passionate about the team and want to show how much they support the Springboks.
 
Already several well-known South Africans such as singers Danny K and Kurt Darren, Idols judge Randall Abrahams and former rugby star, Ray Mordt have shown their support and received their personalised Springbok jerseys last week.
