SA boxer to fight on SuperSport- 29 Mar 2011 00:00:00

Boxing fans will have the chance to watch South African Macbute Sinyabi go toe-to-toe with Londoner southpaw Thabo Sonjica, live on SuperSport - when the two meet on Saturday night.

The boxers have a combined total of 20 knockouts from 22 fights, and will fight at the Orient Theatre in East London, in a tournament broadcasted live on SuperSport 5 from 8pm.

The 24 year-old South African’s record currently stands at an impressive 15-1, with 15 knockouts.

Mandatory challenger for the SA junior featherweight title, Macbute Sonjica also has five knockout wins from seven fights, and his undefeated since his debut loss to Siviwe Mqakamba in 2007.

With two knockout records, boxing fans will be expecting a stoppage inside the distance this weekend.
