Liverpool FC signs menswear deal- 3 May 2012 00:00:00

Barclays Premier League club Liverpool has agreed a new partnership with Ramsey, in a two-year deal that will see the Turkish menswear brand supply bespoke tailored products to Liverpool’s first team, including suits, shirts, ties and belts. 

Headquartered in Istanbul, Ramsey has been in the menswear industry for 25 years since it began in London in the late 1970s. 

It will have a high-profile start to its relationship with Liverpool when it supplies the club’s formal suits for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.

Huseyin Dogan, CEO of Ramsey, said: ‘This is an important step for Ramsey both in Turkey and overseas. We see this partnership as a milestone for our business underlining Ramsey's innovation and design-orientated approach to the men's ready-to-wear clothing sector. We believe Ramsey will benefit from exposure to Liverpool FC's millions of worldwide fans, whilst the two brands forge a strong relationship based on style, success and tradition.’

Ian Ayre, Liverpool’s managing director, added: ‘The club is continuing to team up with successful companies around the world which once again shows the value of the LFC brand globally. We look forward to working with Ramsey to support our mutual goals.’
