Hotel chain Hilton Worldwide has extended its partnership with the McLaren Formula One team, which began back in 2005.

The partnership will continue for an undisclosed period - described as 'multi-year' by the racing team.

The new phase of the partnership will include promotion of the Hilton HHonors guest loyalty programme, while logos will appear on McLaren's cars and a variety of other activation elements, including a dedicated website and digital marketing strands, have also been announced.

Martin Whitmarsh, McLaren's team principal, said: ‘At Vodafone McLaren Mercedes we set great store by the value we create for our partners, which is demonstrated by the longevity of so many of our relationships. Also, we are always looking for more and better ways to engage with our fans worldwide. This partnership will help to fulfil that ambition.’

The multi-million dollar partnership will continue to include McLaren personnel, including drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, staying at one of 3,800 Hilton hotels in 88 countries around the world.
